Ca’ Valent

Ca’ Valent Winery is nestled in the heart of Belfiore, a charming Veneto village surrounded by pristine greenery. Here, tradition and passion come together to create authentic wines that capture the essence of the land.

our history

The Ca’ Valent winery was born in the aftermath of World War II. Its founder, Romeo Valent, upon returning from imprisonment in Czechoslovakia, began the family winemaking venture alongside Maria (known as Arcelia), his lifelong companion.
Those were pioneering years, marked by courage and hard work, where time was split between tending the fields and nurturing a growing family blessed with six children.

As the business expanded, so did Romeo’s involvement in the public and economic life of the region, where he played a key role in the establishment of the consortium protecting DOC Lison-Pramaggiore wines.

Ca’ Valent today

Romeo dedicated his life to his craft, living to the age of 93, during which he passed down his passion for winemaking and the creation of fine wines to his son, Ezio. Today, guided by the moral and cultural values inherited from his family, Ezio, together with his wife Rossella, carries on the legacy of Ca’ Valent.
Ezio continues to cultivate the family estate and produce wines that embody the principles of authenticity and natural excellence.
